I'm a web developer based in Houston, Texas. I recently completed a Full Stack Developer Certificate at the University of Texas at Austin, where I built applications from front to back — React on the client side, Node.js handling the server, with MySQL and MongoDB managing the data.
Before that, I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Digital Media. That background gave me a solid eye for design and UX, which now feeds directly into the way I build interfaces. I think about how things look and how they work at the same time, because users don't separate the two.
Most recently I worked as a Junior Web Developer at Staxx Digital, where I designed pages in Figma, built them out in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and worked directly with clients through the feedback cycle. I like that kind of close loop — design it, build it, ship it, hear what people think, then make it better.
I'm looking for a role where I can keep growing as a developer, contribute to real projects, and work alongside people who care about the craft.
